Persephone cries,

Persephone
Persephone stands in the fruit aisle
with hunger in her eyes.
Paranoid all the while,
she wonders if it is safe to try.
It has been a week since she had a thing to eat;

Hecate
Witch,
is what the Gods call me.
Magic,
my calling as I taught my sisters.
Moon,
our silver moonlit hair connects us.
Crossroads,
for I control all entrance ways.
Necromancy,
all magic, herbs, and poisonous plants I know.
Sisters,
I am the oldest of the lunar sisters.
Key,
is my favorite symbol like the moon.
Fate,
I see my sister's paths.
Darkness,
only we can stop it.
